The Beginning

Our animal story and how we started our very own Jungle Up North.

We started our journey with your typical pets. Cats and Dogs are the usual animals we all love to cuddle and keep as companions. Once I had my own place, moved out from Mom (now Grandma)’s house. I’ve always had at least 2 cats.

First was Snoop. She was my special girl. She was a Grey and White Tabby with a lot of opinions, who refused to drink water from anything else but my water glass. Her nickname at one point was Snorlax (like the Pokemon) because she was large and lazy lol. We lived in an appartment and she didn't have lots of space to run, jump, and do cat things. Once we moved to a house, she lived her best life! She was always outside on my deck chair and loved soaking up the sun. She ended her life with only 3 legs!!! She was as fiesty and chatty as ever, but lost all her lazy weight because 3 legs take more oomph to get somewhere.
